Company founder Rolph Smith of Aerosmith Welding has over twenty six years of industry experience and is Certified for Aircraft Components, working on both Jet and Piston Aircraft Parts as well as Helicopter Parts. 

Rolph has an Associate Degree in Science & Metallurgy, is Civil Aviation Approved and a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Rolph is the only person in Cairns qualified for Exotic Welding on heat & corrosive resistant alloys such as Inconel, Titanium, Hastelloy -X-Y-H and Stainless Steel.
